810 Elk Ave, Crested Butte, CO 81224

Property Description

An awesome location that is in-town but private, 810 Elk sits against the Town's permanent open space that connects to Rainbow Park, the Rec path and the public trail system access. Elk Avenue restaurants, bars and shopping are 4 blocks to the west and the ski resort shuttle bus stop is even closer. The home basks in the western glow of our beautiful sunsets and enjoys views of Red Lady Bowl and Whetstone Mountain. Design highlights include amazing custom lighting treatments, Pogoloff custom kitchen cabinetry in bamboo with lyptis tops, walnut trim and doors throughout, cork flooring, a 2-story soapstone gas fireplace and a stunning custom steel staircase that stretches from the entryway to the third floor. The floor plan puts the kitchen, living, dining, an office-flex space and a 3/4 bath on the second level, a lofted space that is currently home to a climbing gym on the top level and three bedrooms, two baths and the gear room on the 1st floor. Out back you'll find a well designed detached garage, shop and a big accessory space with a 1/2 bath. You'll love the covered, wrap around front porch, the bocci court and the paver walkway. The back patio features a big salt water hot tub, an outdoor shower and a super fun firepit with stone benches. The property is beautifully landscaped with irrigated gardens and offers privacy with mature spruce and aspen trees all around.
